Radiolarian Ooze - Protozoan Series

This series is inspired by the illustrations from Ernst Haeckel's "Art Forms in the Ocean: The Radiolarian Atlas of 1862".  A radiolarian is a single-celled aquatic animal that has a spherical amoeba-like body with a spiny skeleton of silica.  The skeletal remains of radiolarians settle to the ocean floor and form radiolarian ooze.
